Got a lot to do today?

Take a good look at your list. Can a mere mortal really do
all that in a single day? Next to each item, write down
how long you think it will take. A word of caution – most
people underestimate here, probably due to wishful (but not
realistic) thinking. Go ahead, work the numbers. Add them
up. If you’re like most people you’ll see you set your
expectations way too high. Delete a few items, reschedule
a few, and then work in some breaks. Check in with your
list regularly. Learn to make it realistic.
